Dicussion Leader- Sean Eberly

1.       Do you think anything bad will happen to Dr. Hoskins for letting Amari, Polly, and Tidbit escape?

2.       Do you think Clay was killed by the snake or he got loose and is chasing Amari, Polly, and Tidbit?

3.       Now that Mr. Derby is dead, do you think Mrs. Derby will have more freedom to do what she wants, with Clay in charge?

    1.No, I think he played it off well.

    2.I think he got killed by the snake.

    1. No I don't think so because there is no proof that he let them go.
    2. I think he was killed by the snake.
    3.Yes, I think she probably inherited the plantation and is going to treat the slaves better.
