When Polly first is introduced in the book what was your first impression of her. Do you think that she and amari will ever get along?

Do you think clay will ever leave amari alone or will clay eventually start enjoying her and become her friend?

1.I think when the slaves are being bought they are wondering who there owner is going to be and also how they are going to be treated.I also think that when they are being sold they know somewhat that they are going to have to do but I don't think they fully know at what extent that they will have to work or are doing.
ReplyDelete3. I don't think for a while Clay will leave Amari alone beacause Clay likes Amari but after a while I think Amari will put her foot down and let Clay know how she feels. Although I don't think that Clay and Amari will become friends, due to the simple reason that Amari always feels uncomfortable around him.

2.When Polly was first introduced I thought she was snobby and had the mindset that she was better than the slaves. I think eventually she will start to like Amari and accept her as a true friend and they will get along.
ReplyDelete3.I don't think Clay will ever leave Amari alone, she's his property and he reminds her of this often. I think Clay will come to realize that he should be her friend, not a lot of people like him and she puts up with him so he should befriend her.
